Rental Space and Equipment Rates

The Sorenson Unity Center's mission is to serve as a community resource and gathering place where all cultures are celebrated and welcomed. 

To make a reservation fill out an Application for Use and contact the Unity Center at  801-535-6533 or unitycenter@slcgov.com for an appointment. 

Space Availability

• Performance Theater =  1760 SF

• Main Lobby/Gallery = 3200 SF

• Reception Area (entrance to the Theatre) = 495 SF

• Classroom 144 = 650 SF seats 20

• Kitchen = small prep kitchen with fridge, sink (1) table and (2) chairs

• SLC Management Conference Room = seats 10 max

Sorenson Unity Center is closed for all Salt Lake City Corp. holidays other date and time restrictions are listed below and are subject to change.  Please contact the Administrative Office for the full list of holidays and limited hours.

Performance Groups, Theater and Dance Companies - Please contact Sorenson Unity Center Director for discount Guest Contract rates.

*Non-Profits must have 501 (c) (3) status and sales tax exempt number
**Non-Profit w/Commercial = Non-profit selling tickets food or products
***Residents must show proof of residence (84104 and 84116 to North Temple)
****Theatre includes Reception Area
